ELPA children’s book illustration
The East Lothian Play Association asked me to illustrate a children’s book, created by Susan Humble, that encourages loose parts play. The Play Association works with families to promote children’s right to play and support those working with children. The book – to my delight – centred around a puffin called Mica and their parent. I’ve included a few of the page spreads here, but you can read the full book in the flipper below.
We’ve also made some postcards and a play journey map to encourage outdoor play in all weather.
