Aurora swim, Portobello panoramic: signed, limited edition (one of 50) giclee print,
Image size 43 x 17cm. Framed / mounted size c. 60cm long.
(I can also do this in my larger panoramic size (66cm long – mounted / framed size around 80cm). Get in touch if you’d like that – I haven’t listed it as an option here because I’d get the print made for you, so don’t have it in my possession.
I drew this with totally different aurora, but then the Great Aurora Night of October 2024 happened and I had to re-make it to be more like what i actually saw! They were very angular and diagonal. This ‘swim’ is more like the dipping I do – my earlier Yellowcraigs Swim image was definitely of a more serious swimmer!
Framing will be done at Roo Art in Haddington and you can choose a white frame or one with some warm grey tones like the close-up photo.
My Portobello swim image also features on a placemat, and an enamel mug.
NB the images on this site are RGB, so your print will differ slightly due to screen calibration and colour mode.
Gift wrapping can be added at the cart. I use coloured kraft paper and paper ribbon so it’s all completely recyclable. I’ll also write your message in one of my greetings cards.

About my art: I draw digitally in Adobe Illustrator using a Wacom drawing tablet, often incorporating painted and captured textures into my images later. My commissioned illustration features in many local brands. It can be found on theatre posters and albums across the country, and has also included shortbread tins, books, games, animations and recently – the pinnacle of success – a bin in North Berwick.
