Tantallon Castle, a semi-ruined mid-14th-century fortress near North Berwick is one of my favourite local castles – great for views and a sense of drama. Built by the Douglas family, they managed to keep it in the family for generations in spite of relentless sieges (James IV and James V both had a go). The castle is only a mile south of the Bass Rock.
Please note, the framed image is a mock-up because I haven’t worked out how to photograph through glass – my frames are actually nicer than the mock-up. They’re slightly textured, made of wood and glass. Your print will be numbered, titled and signed on the print and on the mount.
My Tantallon Castle illustration also features on a coaster and a greetings card.
The images on this site are RGB, so your print will differ slightly due to screen calibration and colour mode.
Gift wrapping can be added at the cart. I use coloured kraft paper and paper ribbon (entirely recyclable). I’ll also write your message in one of my greetings cards.
Local collection: if you opt for Haddington pick-up in the shipping options, I’ll email you the address.

About my art: I draw digitally in Adobe Illustrator, often incorporating painted and captured textures into my images later. My commissioned illustration features in many local brands. It can be found on theatre posters and albums across the country, and has also included shortbread tins, books, games, animations and recently – the pinnacle of success – a bin in North Berwick.
