Description
Traprain Law in Golden Light: limited edition (one of 50) giclee print.
Image size is 40x30cm or 40x65cm. (framed sizes 53×43 or 58×80)
Traprain Law, 4 miles east of Haddington, was a hill fort and home to the Votadini tribe. In 1919, the Traprain Treasure was found here, the largest hoard of Roman silver found outside the Roman Empire.
To me, it’s a beautiful and familiar hill, though severely altered by quarrying. It’s handy for navigation on almost any cycle ride from Haddington.
Please note, the framed image is a mock-up because I haven’t worked out how to photograph through glass – my frames are actually nicer than the mock-up. They’re slightly textured, made of wood and glass. Your print will be numbered, titled and signed on the print and on the mount.
The large version of this print would be framed by Janine at Roo Art in Haddington.
My Traprain Law in Golden Light is also available on a cushion, coaster or greetings card.
The images on this site are RGB, so your print will differ slightly due to screen calibration and colour mode.
Gift wrapping can be added at the cart. I use coloured kraft paper and paper ribbon (entirely recyclable). I’ll also write your message in one of my greetings cards.
Local collection: if you opt for Haddington pick-up in the shipping options, I’ll email you the address.
